According to Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett, 18 U.S. states have recently filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and its commissioners, accusing the SEC, under the leadership of Chairman Gary Gensler, of implementing unconstitutional overreach and unfair suppression of the cryptocurrency industry. The lawsuit, signed by 18 Republican state attorneys general, claims that the SEC's "enforcement over regulation" approach has severely overstepped its authority, infringing upon the states' rights to regulate their own economies.
