Self Chain Q1 2025 Recap 📝
What a quarter it has been! From the launch of Testnet Phase 2 with CosmWasm support and onboarding key partners, to unveiling our redesigned website and introducing new use cases like
AgentFi and PayFi—Q1 for Self Chain was focused, purposeful, and foundational.
There's so much to cover, but we've packed it into a summary of our biggest Q1 highlights.
🟣 Testnet Phase 2 went live, introducing CosmWasm smart contract support and a robust testing ground for builders. Within two weeks, we crossed 1M+ transactions, onboarded 150+ validators on-chain, and maintained a 5.33s Block Time.
🟣 We committed 500K $SLF in builder and node rewards, backing those who contribute to the future of our infrastructure—400K $SLF for developers deploying with CosmWasm, and 100K $SLF to node operators keeping the network resilient.
🟣 We rebranded our website. With it, we introduced a fresh landing page, highlighting our evolving product direction with
AgentFi, PayFi, AI Agents, and Chain Abstraction.
🟣 Ecosystem collaborations picked up speed as we welcomed ecosystem partners like @AspisProtocol, @UnmarshalAI, @MindAI_io, @Script_Network, @Dormint_io, @PlenaFinance, @PathPulse_ai, and @Phron_AI, @GoraNetwork, each building meaningful use cases across DeFi, wellness, smart mobility, and AI automation.
🟣 Self Academy was introduced as a hub for Web3 and our platform education, providing simple explainers and product deep dives for the community.
🟣 We kicked off the Self Chain x @cedelabs Trading Competition, inviting users to trade on $SLF on Binance via CedeHub for a chance to win rewards while engaging with the growing Self Chain ecosystem.
🟣 We kept things open with multiple AMAs: Script, Arcana, and Phron AI, plus our first Founder Fireside to touch on recent development updates and future roadmap. Our community leaders took things a step further by hosting a series of AMAs to educate and engage the community on Self Chain and broader web3 topics.
🟣 As part of our broader growth push, $SLF was a part of @binance's Lunar Year Campaign, offering up to 20% APR through flexible products plus a chance to win a share of $150K Red Packet rewards while exposing Self Chain to a broader, global user base.
🟣 Our commitment to global expansion is as staunch as ever as we launched the official Korean and Chinese X accounts to support regional engagement. In the midst of this, Self Chain also crossed 300K followers on X.
As we move into Q2, the mission remains the same: build and scale intent-driven and keyless access across more verticals. We’ve shipped the foundation. Now it’s time to build on it.
