According to documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by the social media platform Reddit, the majority of its cryptocurrency portfolio was sold in the third quarter, including the sale of Bitcoin and Ethereum that had previously been "allocated for financial reserves."

Reddit stated: "We have sold off most of our cryptocurrency portfolio, primarily consisting of Bitcoin and Ethereum. The net book value of the cryptocurrencies held and the proceeds from the sales are both insignificant."
