OSL Group plans to acquire an 81.38% stake in a licensed cryptocurrency trading platform in Japan.

PANews, November 4 - According to Zhitong Finance, Hong Kong-listed company OSL Group (00863) announced that on November 4, 2024, its wholly-owned subsidiary OSL Investment (Japan) Limited (“OSL Japan”) signed a share purchase agreement (“Share Purchase Agreement”) with four independent third parties to acquire a controlling stake in Coin Best Co., Ltd. (“Target Company”), which is a cryptocurrency trading platform licensed by the Japanese Financial Services Agency. According to the agreement, OSL Japan agrees to acquire 81.38% of the shares of the Target Company from the four independent third parties (“Acquisition”). The completion of the acquisition is contingent upon the fulfillment of the conditions precedent in the Share Purchase Agreement, with December 31, 2025, set as the final deadline for the delivery.
