According to Wu, Deutsche Telekom, one of the largest telecommunications companies in Europe, will collaborate with Bankhaus Metzler through its subsidiary MMS to operate Bitcoin mining infrastructure using surplus energy. This project aims to provide data support for grid stability by utilizing renewable energy for mining, especially during periods of energy supply fluctuations. The hosting partner, Metis Solutions GmbH, is responsible for managing the mining machines located in Bockenheim.
