MMS, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, one of the largest telecommunications companies in Europe, will work with Bankhaus Metzler to operate a Bitcoin mining infrastructure using surplus energy. By mining using renewable energy, the project aims to provide data support for grid stability, especially during fluctuations in energy supply.
