Swiss asset management company 21Shares has launched new features for its Ethereum Core ETP, adding a staking function and renaming it to Ethereum Core Staking ETP. The product is listed on major European exchanges, including SIX Swiss Exchange, Deutsche Börse Xetra, and Euronext Amsterdam. This move aims to expand staking access for European institutional and retail investors by providing low-cost, innovative solutions. The Ethereum Core Staking ETP, trading under the ticker ETHC, is physically backed by Ethereum and has a management fee of only 0.21%, making it one of the lowest in the market. Hany Rashwan, CEO of 21Shares, stated that this upgrade is the latest initiative by the company to offer cutting-edge digital asset products to the European market, with the goal of making staking more accessible while maintaining cost-effectiveness. According to Staking Rewards, the current average return rate for Ethereum staking is 3.17%. The ETHC ETP offers investors the opportunity to earn staking rewards while reducing the complexities of direct staking.
