According to Whale Alert's monitoring, at 4:16 AM Beijing time on November 21, Tether Treasury minted 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum network. Tether's Chief Technology Officer Paolo Ardoino stated that this is an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning it will be used for the next issuance request and on-chain transactions.
