Sei's coin price has doubled in a month, with an exploding ecosystem, influx of funds, and constant ETF rumors, it is telling a new story.
In the past 30 days, the price of SEI has soared nearly 97%, hitting a new high in six months, with TVL exceeding $650 million and daily active addresses approaching 900,000. Behind this round of gains is not only the on-chain popularity brought by games, but also the multi-line resonance of technological upgrades, localization strategies, and compliance narratives.
From the on-chain data, the Sei ecosystem is growing at an astonishing rate, with transaction volume soaring threefold in three months and net inflows of funds into cross-chain bridges of nearly $60.00 million. However, it should also be noted that on-chain applications are highly concentrated in leading games such as Nika Labs, while the DeFi sector is almost exclusively dominated by Yei Finance, and ecological diversity still needs to be strengthened.
In its U.S. strategy, Sei has been making frequent moves: establishing a development foundation, connecting to the Trump concept project WLFI, launching native USDC and CCTP V2 in cooperation with Circle, and even being selected as a candidate chain for Wyoming's state stablecoin. Institutional support cannot be ignored, with Circle previously holding 6.25 million SEI, one of its largest deployments in the Layer 1 sector.
On the technology front, Sei plans to evolve towards parallelized EVM, with a target TPS of 100,000 transactions. There are also highlights in the exploration of compliant finance, with Valour launching the SEI ETP and Canary submitting a SEI ETF application to the SEC, marking its accelerated move from crypto-native assets to traditional capital markets.
Although the ecological structure still needs to be optimized, Sei is using a combination of "technology + compliance + localization" to compete for the imaginative space of the next high-performance public chain. The next step is how to break away from "GameFi dependence," which will determine how far it can go.
