🔵Crypto wallet Keplr completes $5 million seed round financing, led by 1confirmation DeThings, January 23 - According to The Block, crypto wallet provider Keplr has completed a $5 million seed round financing, led by 1confirmation, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, HashKey Capital, Chorus One Ventures, Skip Protocol, Binary Builders, and others. Co-founder Josh Lee stated that the equity financing was completed at the end of last year, and Keplr’s valuation is $50 million. With the new funding, Keplr plans to enhance its platform by hiring more personnel for its engineering and product development teams. The company aims to improve user experience and expand support for both EVM and non-EVM blockchains. Keplr has no plans to issue tokens. Lee stated, "Before we start considering a token, we need to first establish a larger blueprint connecting Keplr ownership, verifiability, and usability."

The LSM audit by @zellic_io is kicking-off this week. This audit is funded by @ATOMAccelerator whom we thank for beginning the process of sourcing audit firms! Note that this is the second LSM audit - the first one was done by Ottersec, sponsored by @binary_builders.

🚀 Just in from BuildCon! Our VP of Marketing, Darpan Keswani, took the stage to introduce The Binary Network and its potential for dApp builders. With our web3 distribution layer, we’re enabling projects to reach millions of telco users across Southeast Asia.It was an honor to share the stage with industry leaders like @0xPolygon, @hedera , and @AlchemyPlatform as we pave the way for Web3 innovation.

The @osec_io team has shared the preliminary findings of its Liquid Staking Module audit with the Informal Cosmos Hub team. The review did not raise any serious concerns. One potential bug, under very specific circumstances, is that some users may become unable to tokenize delegations using the LSM. If the vulnerability were to be exploited, these users would not be able to mint new LSM tokens. Users who already have LSM tokens would not be affected. This issue will be addressed shortly. Overall, these findings have given us the confidence to move forward with Hydro’s first Pilot Round, with a small, locked cap of LSM shares for early users, later this week. This will allow projects, voters, and the committee to test Hydro while our team incorporates their feedback. We are committed to transparency and will share the finalized audit report once it is available. In the longer term, Informal is advocating for a phased removal and replacement of LSM with a new framework, but this complex undertaking will take several months. In the meantime, a second audit funded by @ATOMAccelerator will be carried out by @zellic_io and will begin in the next couple of weeks.
