Arcium is a decentralized confidential computing network that enables applications to process sensitive data without exposing it to any single party. Powered by advanced Multi-Party Computation (MPC), Arcium allows data to remain encrypted throughout the entire computation process, unlocking secure use cases across AI, finance, identity, healthcare, and other data-intensive industries.
The network is composed of decentralized Arx nodes that collaborate to perform computations on secret-shared data. These nodes are organized into clusters and operate within customizable MPC eXecution Environments (MXEs), which allow developers to define security assumptions, computation parameters, and execution settings. Through cryptographic guarantees and economic incentives, Arcium delivers trustless, confidential, and verifiable computation at scale.
Often described as a “Confidential Supercomputer,” Arcium combines its distributed operating system, arxOS, with MXEs and the Arcis developer framework to make privacy-preserving applications easier to build. By enabling secure data collaboration without sacrificing confidentiality, Arcium aims to become the foundational infrastructure for the next generation of decentralized and privacy-first applications.
