On December 1st, according to PeckShield monitoring, the losses caused by the yETH vulnerability attack on Yearn Finance have now reached $9.00M. The vulnerability can mint an almost unlimited number of yETH tokens and deplete the token liquidity pool in a single transaction. As of now, the hacker address still holds $6.00M worth of cryptocurrencies that have not been transferred yet.

It is reported that Yearn Finance disclosed that it has launched an investigation into the attack. The Yearn Curated Morpho vault is secure, and yETH/st-yETH is not used as collateral in any market.
