Wall Street's crypto ETF "arms race" is entering a new stage. The latest Q2 financial reports show that 12 institutions hold a total of $15.80B, with BlackRock becoming the absolute core of institutional allocation with over 90% of the capital inflow. The remaining ETFs face marginalization, and the market pattern is accelerating. Data shows that the overall inflow of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. was strong in Q2, but the funds were highly concentrated. In terms of Bitcoin ETFs, the 12 products had a total inflow of $12.80B, of which BlackRock's IBIT alone absorbed $12.45B, accounting for nearly 97%, and the stock price rose 23% in a single quarter. Fidelity's FBTC recorded a net inflow of $490.00M, while Grayscale Mini BTC, Bitwise, VanEck and other products only received several hundred million dollars in incremental funds, and several products, including GBTC, even experienced net outflows. The same is true for Ethereum ETFs. The 9 products had a net inflow of $1.79B, with BlackRock's ETHA taking $1.45B, Fidelity's FETH recording $250.00M, and most of the remaining shares were limited, while Grayscale's ETHE suffered capital outflows. In terms of institutional holdings, the leading players are particularly aggressive. Goldman Sachs' spot holdings exceeded $2.70B, with ETHA increasing by as much as 283%; Brevan Howard's holdings approached $2.30B, significantly increasing its position in IBIT; Jane Street has a dual-line layout, with a total allocation of over $2.20B in spot and options; Susquehanna International Group's holdings are nearly $1.50B, and it is expanding its position in Ethereum ETFs; Millennium Management, Capula, Schonfeld and other hedge funds have also significantly increased their allocations. Overall, BlackRock's ETFs have become the heavy-holding targets of various institutions, while Fidelity and Grayscale have increased their holdings to a certain extent, but the scale is far less than ETHA and IBIT. From a strategic perspective, institutions are not only increasing their positions in the spot market, but also strengthening risk management and return optimization through call/put options. This means that crypto ETFs are no longer just passive investment tools, but have become a part of institutional systematic asset allocation. For Wall Street, the inflow of ETFs not only reflects the choice of funds, but also its layout in the competition for global crypto asset pricing power. Overall, the pattern of this round of funds is clear: BlackRock dominates with its brand, liquidity and market trust, and its products are the first choice for institutions; other ETFs are caught in the "long tail dilemma" with limited capital承接力. If the market continues to expand in the future, the trend of differentiation may intensify, and the concentration of the head will be further improved. This also means that the price discovery and market dominance of crypto assets are accelerating towards a few Wall Street giants.
