David Kalk is a portfolio manager at Brevan Howard. Previously, he was the founder and chief investment officer of Reflexive Capital, an alternative asset management firm focused on cryptocurrencies. Prior to founding Reflexive, David served as Head of Macro and Digital Assets at Commonwealth Asset Management. Prior to that, David spent eight years in macro trading at Peter Thiel's family office, Thiel Macro, where he served as chief investment officer for the last four years. He began his career as an interest rate swaps trader at Goldman Sachs and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.
