According to CoinDesk, a total of 141,271 Bitcoin options contracts, worth over $14 billion and accounting for over 40% of the total open interest, will expire on the Deribit exchange this Friday. Of these, 81,994 are call options, and the remainder are put options. The current put/call ratio for Bitcoin has risen to 0.72, partly driven by the "cash-secured put" strategy. Lin Chen, Head of Asia Business Development at Deribit, stated that nearly 20% of the expiring call options are in the money, indicating that call option buyers have performed well this cycle. The maximum pain point for this expiration is $102,000. Recent market flows are slightly skewed neutral, with traders selling straddles and selling call options with a strike price of approximately $105,000 and shorting put options with a strike price of $100,000 expiring on June 27. Price volatility is expected to tighten before expiration, and implied volatility remains high.
