Ethereum Mainnet's Tenth Anniversary: The Eight Kings Scattered, Faith Remains! On July 30, 2025, the ETH price is approaching $4,000.00, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the Ethereum mainnet launch. In ten years, this project, which started with a whitepaper, has grown into a global financial network with a market value of hundreds of billions of dollars, and has also completed its first cycle from PoW to PoS and from founding centralization to community governance. This is a history of technology, and also a narrative about people. From Vitalik's idea to the founding team of "Eight Kings Regent" parting ways: Charles Hoskinson turned around and created Cardano, Gavin Wood left and created Polkadot, Di Iorio and Wilcke faded out one after another, and Lubin continued the commercial chapter with ConsenSys. Ten years later, their figures may have gone far away, but the ideal of building a "world computer" that year is still being continued by new developers. On July 30, 2025, the ETH price is approaching $4,000.00, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the Ethereum mainnet launch. In ten years, this project, which started with a whitepaper, has grown into a global financial network with a market value of hundreds of billions of dollars, and has also completed its first cycle from PoW to PoS and from founding centralization to community governance. This is a history of technology, and also a narrative about people. From Vitalik's idea to the founding team of "Eight Kings Regent" parting ways: Charles Hoskinson turned around and created Cardano, Gavin Wood left and created Polkadot, Di Iorio and Wilcke faded out one after another, and Lubin continued the commercial chapter with ConsenSys. Ten years later, their figures may have gone far away, but the ideal of building a "world computer" that year is still being continued by new developers.
