According to Techub News and reported by The Block, OSL has completed the acquisition of the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange CoinBest, officially renaming it OSL Japan.OSL's CEO Kevin Cui stated that while Japan has traditionally been a difficult market to penetrate, the acquisition of CoinBest provides an excellent opportunity to enter the Japanese market, "We will rely on the local team to develop our business in Japan." Additionally, Cui pointed out that OSL has been focusing on global expansion since last year and prefers to expand in jurisdictions with more mature regulatory frameworks, "Lithuania is one of the places we are currently considering."
