According to Wu, Thanh Le, the founder of the crypto company Ninety Eight (formerly Coin98 Finance), announced on the X platform that due to the rapid evolution of the blockchain industry, Ninety Eight has decided to lay off over 20% of its workforce to streamline operations and improve efficiency. The company will provide due benefits and support to affected employees. Le stated that although the team has expanded significantly in recent years, the increase in headcount has not led to the expected productivity, but rather increased communication costs. Additionally, Le mentioned that the company will prioritize focusing resources on on-chain products.
