Abbiamo letto i vostri commenti e vogliamo chiarire il punto. Il nostro post non intendeva in alcun modo criticare le soluzioni orientate alla privacy menzionate, né tantomeno @Tether (USDT), che consideriamo un’eccellenza italiana nel panorama globale delle criptovalute. Come affermato da @AndreaF_Young durante il suo intervento alla Camera, riteniamo che Tether meriti la licenza di moneta elettronica (EMT), perché da anni offre trasparenza e stabilità, detenendo titoli di Stato americani in rapporto 1:1 con le stablecoin emesse. Questo a differenza degli istituti di credito tradizionali, che operano ancora con il sistema della riserva frazionaria. Il nostro punto era un altro: siamo profondamente critici nei confronti dell’Europa e dell’assimmetria normativa che penalizza chi opera in conformità con le regole, mentre altre entità, con sede in paesi meno regolamentati, possono offrire gli stessi servizi senza restrizioni. Ancora più grave, alcune di queste organizzazioni promuovono attivamente i loro prodotti (illegali per chi rispetta le regole) attraverso campagne che sarebbero vietate ai player regolamentati. Questo crea un mercato distorto, dove chi segue la normativa è svantaggiato rispetto a chi la ignora. Riguardo a MiCA, neanche noi siamo pienamente soddisfatti della normativa finale. Ha implicazioni operative rilevanti per la nostra piattaforma in termini di libertà e controlli, ma è anche il primo passo verso un mercato crypto riconosciuto e istituzionale. Tutti abbiamo voluto che il settore uscisse dall’incertezza normativa e questo è il primo risultato ottenuto. Sicuramente c’è ancora margine di miglioramento, ma era inevitabile che una regolamentazione così ampia comportasse compromessi. Se ci devono essere regole, devono valere per tutti. Serve una normativa chiara e unica. Apprezziamo il dialogo costruttivo e rimaniamo disponibili per ulteriori approfondimenti.
