🛰️FN Express | Understand Aspecta Invested by Yzi Labs in 3 Minutes
On the evening of July 10th, Yzi Labs announced a strategic investment in @aspecta_ai. Let's take you through the team, product, and community aspects to understand why Aspecta is favored by @yzilabs 🧐
👥Team Background
In terms of team background, Aspecta did not start from scratch. The project was incubated at Yale University's Tsai CITY in 2022. The core team members come from top universities and research institutions including Yale, Tsinghua, Berkeley, and McGill, and have a number of patents and research results in the fields of AI and graph learning.
The co-founding team includes:
▪️Former Tinder Chief Scientist Steve Liu (Academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering) as Chief Scientist
▪️Jack He as Co-founder
▪️The team also includes a number of senior engineers and growth leaders such as Jane Yang.
📍Why did it appear? What pain points does it solve?
In the traditional market, a large number of assets such as early equity, locked tokens, private equity, and real-world assets (RWA) cannot be traded in the public market, lack transparent pricing, and seriously restrict liquidity and pricing efficiency. Aspecta proposes: to give these "closed assets" "life" on the chain, which can not only realize pricing but also provide trading capabilities, thereby reducing information asymmetry and improving asset utilization.
📌Two Core Products: BuildKey and Aspecta ID
▪️BuildKey: Asset Standardization and Lifecycle Pricing
BuildKey presents illiquid assets in the form of tradable ERC‑20-like vouchers. For example, pre-TGE equity, lock-up tokens, private placement rights, etc. can all be issued and traded on-chain through BuildKey. This mechanism not only supports a variety of pricing methods such as AMM, order book, and auctions, but also allows assets to switch at different stages of the life cycle, such as the "on-chain relay" from venture capital to the public trading market.
It is worth noting that since its launch, BuildKey has supported more than 25 kinds of digital assets to participate in pricing, completing more than 50,000,000 transactions, once proving that closed capital has a strong demand for on-chain liquidity mechanisms. It is not a simple token minting, but a set of "lifecycle asset variant" systems: users can freely enter and exit in multiple stages such as TGE, lock-up, and secondary market, and the asset price is more continuous.
▪️Aspecta ID: AI-Driven Trusted Identity Protocol
If BuildKey is an asset voucher tool, Aspecta ID is a trust mechanism that gives endorsements to issuers. It integrates data such as GitHub submissions, on-chain behavior, and project contributions, and uses AI algorithms to create credit profiles for developers, projects, and even asset issuers, and issues credit scores.
This mechanism allows asset packaging without a "trust vacuum". In the early stages of a project or when it is in a closed stage, the trust output of Aspecta ID can reduce the concerns of investors and traders. At this stage, more than 54,000 GitHub developers have completed verification, and the system is moving from a trust protocol to the community governance level.
